from IOCCTI 2020?

What are the main ingredients?

The idea is that the plenary sessions will be more webinar style. Webinar style means there will be limited possibility to actively communicate amongst each other as participants. It will be live hosted by a panel of facilitators and ingredients can be: (pre-recorded) interviews, short videos, a dialogue panel, thought provoking questions and exercises around the focus of that day.

The workshop sessions will facilitate to be with smaller groups, to go out in break out rooms, to discuss, share, reflect, grow together. It will thus offer possibilities for exchange, breakout sessions, interconnectedness within a design frame offered.

Per timezone the ‘flavor’ and specifics of that zone will be looked out after. After all, the challenges we experience in the various continents are partially the same and partially different.

The plenary sessions of day 1 and 2 will prepare us all to connect to the focus of that day so we can take it into the workshop session.

The plenary sessions will be in English and will have simultaneous translation into Spanish, Russian and Portuguese.

The workshop session will facilitate to be with smaller groups, to go out in break out rooms, to discuss, share, reflect, grow together. It will thus offer possibilities for exchange, breakout sessions, interconnectedness within a design frame offered.

The workshop session you can do in one of the four languages, so you are ‘in the room’ with others that chose the same language and you can communicate directly in your chosen language. There will be facilitators to facilitate the workshops and they will also report back the highlights, insights and learnings.

In the plenary session on the third day, we can report back about the learnings from the different workshop-groups. And we will facilitate a process to harvest and integrate.
